About Filmriss
Filmriss is a photography Meetup in Berlin that aims to bring the photography scene in the capitol closer together with photo walks, photo challenges and networking beers. Whether a professional or hobbyist, analogue or digital. All are welcome! We also organise workshops and other community events, everything connected with photography. Our first event took place in 2023 .Since then we have been growing fast and developed a strong and lovely community.

Filmriss Berlin finally brings the Berlin photography scene a little bit closer together. We organise regular photowalks and networking events.

Our Challenges.
For each Meetup, we will offer various challenges that our participants can master alone or together as a team. As a small motivation, we will be giving away small prizes for the best three photos among all participants. After the photowalk, our community can submit their favourite pictures within three weeks and provide us with the publication rights for social media.

Networking.
It has never been so easy to meet so many people who are passionate about photography! After the photowalk we all meet up again and go to a bar, beer garden or park together to exchange experiences and make new contacts.

Workshops.
Filmriss is more than just a photography meetup. In addition to our photowalks, we also offer workshops in studio and street photography. Together with our participants, we deep dive into the subject of light, gear, compositions and modelling instructions. In our street workshops, we focusing on the composition of images, the right moment, body language and film development.
